The car he’s driving – a Year One built, 600-horsepower 1969 DynaCorn Camaro – is reminiscent of Trans Am racing’s glory days. It’s an overflow of performance, as Schneider tries to harness the car’s LS-7 crate engine, custom competition camshaft, GMPP dry-sump oiling system, fabricated headers, Tremac five-speed transmission and its Quadralink, four-link race suspension. It’s a car built for competitive road racing.

"Nissan said, Im departing see you on another planet" that bit was hilarious
08NismoZ if you were lead to believe the rednecks weren't very familiar with GTRs, than those guys are better actors than I give them credit for. The rednecks are actually very familiar with GTRs, just from their experience in Optima events. In fact, Finch and Tucker both ran faster than a GTR (his AWD was working) in the autocross in our 2011 Ultimate Street Car Invitational event and Tucker ran faster on the road course as well. They also ran against another GTR in the 2012 Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational, which will air this Sunday on SPEED at 11AM Eastern.

Jeremy, we'd love to see you come back to CMP with your AWD working for the Detroit Speed Southern Slam on April 20 & 21st . The Southern Slam isn't wheel to wheel racing, but it is timed and many of the rednecks will be running in it, so you'll be able to figure out if you could've lapped them (everyone else is welcome to run as well).

The Southern Slam is also a qualifying event for the 2013 Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational. We don't offer $10,000 to the winner, like the Redneck show, but if you get invited to compete in the OUSCI, your car will be on display at SEMA all week and our event is filmed for TV. We also give away some pretty nice swag to the competitors. It is an event for street cars only, so we do have a 200 treadwear minimum as well, but most of those guys aren't running ABS, so an AWD GTR should still have quite an advantage and the two that have run the past two years have done quite well.

Jeremy it would have been interesting had they had a real race car driver instead of that actor especially without the a AWD GTR, glad you won nonetheless way to represent the GTR. Interestingly enough that BMW driver will never be able to live that B slap laid down on him it took the win right out of his sail he knew he had better lose the next race or else, glad that wasn't you.

That was unbelievable to me. He just shook his head and drove off. Um......hellooooo? A grown man just slapped you-another grown man-like a child and you do nothing?? Hell no

I know, I would have reversed right over him. That would be some good TV action.
Be like woops, didnt know it was in reverse...or a "racing incident" cant be charged...
Amazing. Id have thought they would force you to lose to the necks for the show.
Thanks for all the kind words guys, and thanks for watching !

Ahhh then it must've been the editing they did, and I wouldn't really consider beating a GTR in autox that big of a deal haha
Good job Jeremy! Way to represent GT-Rs!

+1.  I've done this in a stock Miata.
good job Jeremy
next time with awd you can beat him in reverse
Very nice! Going to see if I can find the full episode when I get home.
Good Job Jeremy your the man!

It was funny at the end when the Red Neck guy brought out your $10,000 winnings inside 30 Glasses of Jams for you to take home. :)
^^ haha.  I need to dvr it.  I keep missing it.  Unless someone has a video link yet?  Great Job Jeremy!

Watching the episode right now, saw a few comments and I gathered that you won

GJ Jeremy! Would they not let you run real power out there? 500hp is like, factory :(

Watching this show fills me with so much rage, it makes me want to bring my cars out and spank them hard.

Hell, I'd love to spank them in my tow truck, even if it is by default since I smoked out the race track with diesel smoke :D

Also your car sounds really good and looks pretty hot too
Fun video and congrats on taking the redneck's money! It must have hurt them bad, losing. You made it look good.
Jeremy - great job!
Just saw this on demand. Good kill pretty much dominate them haha
Nice way to represent Jeremy!
A win for the good guys Lol

Thanks bud. They didn't care how much power the car made per say, it's just what I run it at. And to be perfectly honest with you I didn't have the 498 rwhp/505 rwtq 18 psi map loaded on the car. The car was probably making around 450 rwhp ( mustang dyno ) on the 14 psi map I ended up running on. I don't want to build the motor unless I have to, and I've always had it tuned on the conservative side.
