What was your tranny temp? Did u have in r mode (tranny) and vdc off?

You HAVE to have your transmission temp above 150f to launch. It won't let you if it's lower.

It HAS to be in either auto R or Manual R or it won't launch.

VDC HAS to be off in 09-11's at the moment. The VDC will shut the car down immediately if you don't.

Sjj31 stop asking questions and install it on your car already!

Thanks for that video Doc!  Between LC4 & LC5, could you actually tell the difference?

I could.  I like the LC5 better... for the street at least.  I also think at this point it will be better at the strip ... time will tell

Yes, my tranny was up to temp and in R mode with VDC off... Not sure it it makes a difference, but my suspension was in normal mode...

Felt like a neutral drop..

Mine doesn't seem to work, I have all the settings right and when I changed them it showed updates available, I updated, and now it has version 1.6.5.1-3617, is that correct? Post 1 shows 1.6.5.1-3857?

So I went and did a few test launches tonight. It's still not up to par, so I'm thinking 4500 might not be enough. Might have to try a 6000. That might be the fix for LC4 with non stock turbos.... :-)

LC4 & LC5 working like a charm in my 2010...

Do you guys have a custom Tune?  You have to get new fune files from Joe @ Cobb... so he can make a minor tweak to the ECU file.

Thanks,
Dave

btw, a new ver was posted last night v3677 i think that lets you select any of the available lc modes.  i know see lc1-5 and can choose stock style or vdc off.  not totally clear on what those mean though.  stock says 4100 rpm.  vdc off says something about level 12?

As soon as Cobb gets this sucker to work with VDC on, I'll pull the trigger.

Seems that the one and only taboo Nissan stated from the start was DO NOT TURN VDC OFF for launch control. For now, it's no bueno.

Yes ... it was tweaked, but I guess needs another look.

I think your out of luck. Cobb can't adjust VDC in the 09-11 to match 12-13 values and I'm not sure they are even trying too.

I'll talk to Will and Eric and see if we ca figure that out. I though we had that working at one point but it appears that I was wrong.

Does the AccessPORT identify the TCM as LC5? After an install go to "AccessPORT->About" and look for the Transmission ID. that will tell you what the AccessPORT is going to install to your TCM during the uninstall process.

I tried launching with LC5 and got poor results also and for some reason its worse than LC4. So far LC2 launchs the best for me. I have yet to try to LC1.
