So I'm not a computer expert or anything but i was just thinking to myself that it would be cool to have a live chat messenger type of thing on the site for members that are logged in. I don't know if it's possible, but it was just an idea. Now i know there's that type of email send a message option but i was thinking more of something along the lines of real time conversations between multiple people? Could be a dumb idea though, just trying to help.

thanks evo911..i remember seeing it in some places a while back but couldn't find any evidence. didn't feel like arguing with people.

kind of cool especially during real time events like the texas mile. or tx2k12. still waiting to see some live coverage of an event like this would be awesome. instead of waiting for the edited footage.

I've seen some have it. if it was for members only that would ve interesting.

ya the one's i've seen are for members but guests just have a chat name like "guest_234" but having one for members only would definitely be the best. Anybody know how i can get an administrator to see this??

It's called a "shoutbox" for IPB

Only problem with that is members would spam the crap out of it. You would need more mods to police it.

++++++111111 melon tuning's forum has that! It's really cool espially if your on your phone it automatically refreshes and keeps the convo live.
