Hello, all!
I'd meant to post this for you last week, but I had some personal issues that set the announcement back a few days.  We're getting caught up now, and wanted to give a bit more info. regarding pricing on the R1K PKG.  As of now, it looks like this:

Ooh standalone!  Nice.  Wonder if they are using Motec?  Sometimes people never do get call backs or answers from you guys though.  Hint hint, been two weeks, hint hint.  Never mind about the manifolds Joe.  If it takes you this long just to return a phone call, I suspect it would take months for a set of manifolds.

You're not far off on what you're posting there, but you are missing a bunch of hardware, software, labor, and R&D.

I would venture to guess labor is up there.  I assume fuel pump upgrade is included as well as valvetrain.  I know JUN valvetrain is $1000 so add that to their cams and you're at $2400.  Maybe add valves and head porting?  Not sure what a built motor really consists of and whether they reuse the stock crank or go for the new stroker cranks.  A lot of variables here that I think would be custom tailored to the customer's needs.  By far not the cheapest but Swtzer stuff never is.  I'm sure it will work well.  I'm installing  my cams right now as we speak.  Uggg.  Not fun.

We're almost always more on the parts and less on the labor, but there is less "custom tailoring" than you might think in our packages.  We got the production approach, developing packages that are reproducible over and over, and making sure that each client leaves with data-logging capability, so every kit out there helps to gather data and support earlier kits, and every earlier kit serves to gather data and support later kits.  This approach has paid off over 50 Switzer GTRs already, and when we found ways to improve our intake plumbing and made changes to the BOVs with TiAL and updated our software tune (all at different times over the past 18 months) all of the early clients got the updates.  That's value, and you just can't get there with a "build it from a catalog" parts combination, I think.

The price quoted above does include engine and trans. labor, as well as dyno time.

That price is pretty good for a built engine, tranny and kit installed and tuned. It's pretty much a 'bolt-on' 1000hp kit you're offering.
