Hey guys. I'm trying to decide between a set of black Advan GT or TE-37 in bronze. My car is a 15' BE in black.

I was so sure that I was going to go with the Advans GT yesterday but when I woke up today, I thought to myself... maybe the bronze TE-37 look better.

Here is my pros and cons of each rim.

Advan GT:

Pros:

- Clean look
- Looks good with the current brake caliper color
- cost less
- 5 spoke

Cons:

- my car will be a black edition in black on black on black (black black black black black black black) Too much black?
- might be a little played out? Lots of people have them
- might be harder to sell later on down the road? Isn't as classic

TE-37 Ultras - Bronze

Pros:

- Classic look
- Provides more of a contrast to my black car
- Always a classic rim. Easier to sell down the line if I decide to change my set up.

Cons:

- Cost more than the Advan
- I feel like it clashes with the stock brake caliper color (yellow). Makes me kind of want to paint the caliper another color like red or something.
- 6 spoke

There is always a third option where I just keep my current set up of Matte blue Te-37's. Pictures of how she sits now (no monster truck comments please, car is getting lowered next week):

I vote Advan GT, I find them to be lighter than TE37 ULTRA so...

Advan GT.

Reasons:

-You are looking to ditch the matte blue TE37s you have, which means you are not quite happy with them for whatever reason. Probably not much of a step up from the stock six spoke black edition wheels. Especially the 15's which are a blue finish from the get go. I doubt getting them in bronze or gold will scratch the itch for you so to speak...

-Advans sell VERY easily on the used market in the correct fitment. Stray from the recommended offsets and you eliminate 90% of the market who don't want to fuck with suspension components. Stick with standard offsets and you can't go wrong when you want to sell them.

-I would highly suggest staying away from dark wheels. They make the rims look puny and take away from the concavity of the spokes. If you get the Advans look into hyper black machining, (which is more of a silver finish than black), or gold.

Just my honest opinion. Good luck with your decision.

A member's car on this forum. Black on hyper black machined... The concavity of the spokes pop.

Yeah not digging the machine black color, mainly because i don't like the lip on it. I wish it was one color throughout.

I think my favorite rim of all time is still the Volk G2 in formula silver. I'd go for that option in a heartbeat if they still sold it :(

Advan GT ftw. I'd guess that just as many people have the te37. It's been around forever. Not sure how many years the Advan Gt has been out, but I just got a set in hyper machine and an amped to put them on my gmg.

Can't go wrong with either of them, saw a black on bronze car with a duckbill trunk that looked fabulous. Here's my gloss black setup.

Racing Gloss Black Advan GT premiums are the choice... that wheel just looks amazing on the GTR. Lots of break calliper cleavage.

They are in fact lighter than the TE37 Ultras. As stated above, The TE's look smaller on the GTR?
