Hello,

I would like to install a very simple "switch" to turn the car into full RWD mode... I am aware of available controllers out there that allow different front and rear settings but i just need something simple and safe without disconnecting the front diff that will be working on full RWD mode... I have visited a few workshops and some have mentioned a simple method that connects a on/off switch to a circuit that simply does what i need...

Has anyone done something like this in the past or can suggest some options or DIY tutorials ?

Thanks in advance!

it is, few workshops have already suggested this idea, im not interested in splitting my distribution to the front and rear like all the controllers offer, instead i just want simple rwd mode...

I dont think this is possible without burning up the front diff. The only way to have full rwd is to dissconnect the front shaft or do a trans swap.

AFAIK, you u cant run in RWD for extended period of time without burning your stock ETS. Moreover, most people who do run in RWD simply disconnect their driveshaft for best results (Like for 2WD Dyno, drifting, etc).

Maybe Jack 0-Preload allow you to do that? I don't know, but I will contact Shep also as he might have a solution.
