Anyone have any luck getting it to work via ECU Connect/bluetooth
I've tried the whole key on 2 seconds key off 10 seconds x3 then start car let it warm up I think I'm up to 15 idle learn fails before I gave up combo of idling warm up and driving around town 10-15 min
Any other tricks or just keep trying?
Maybe just say screw it no idle issues just had changed plugs (oem) and wanted to do it
There are quite a few things that the ECU likes to have sorted before it will idle learn. Make sure all of these are checked/done/in place
- Engine fully warmed up (Coolant Temp is between 70C - 105C (158 - 221CF))
- Battery voltage is over 12.9 V
- Gearbox is in Neutral or PARK
- TCM Oil Temp is over 60Deg C
- All electrical load is OFF like A/C, heated rear window and headlights, if the vehicle is fitted with daytime running lights then start the vehicle with the - TCM in PARK and Handbrake ON.
- Steering Wheel straight position
- Vehicle on level ground
- Ensure the Throttle Valve Closed position Learning has been carried out.
- no DTCs are current or historic
- Intake air is not to to hot below 40degs
- Bonnet and doors shut

Daytime cannot be shut off on mine but still able to do the idle relearn via BT.
