Yup...get that replaced under warranty. He's another video of the same thing:

Sounds identical to yours.

The video says Driveshaft noise. Is it the flywheel or is it a problem in the driveshaft? Thanks.

It's the flywheel TSB. I've had it done already. No change to performance.

I think Nissan has it all wrong. I'm almost positive this sound is caused by a smurf that is playing drums inside the drivetrain....

No problem. If you plan to install aftermarket catless downpipes this is a great time to get it done for free.

Also don't expect the noise to go away 100% after this...it'll be back perhaps not as bad, but it'll be there all the same...

The noise right now isn't loud enough to bother me, and it hasn't affected performance at all as far as I can tell. If it can potentially get worse, as it seems other people have had theirs get a lot worse, I am better off fixing it just in case to stave off worse issues before I get some major modifications done next month.

My GTR makes the same noises. I can hear it mostly when it's in the garage and the noises echo off the walls.  Nissan techs looked at it and stated they were normal GTR noises.  I have not had any problems.

Had mine done last wk. It's now 200% quieter than what it had grown to be. I think some people are perceiving any noise as too much noise. Not so. Mine still makes this noise, but it's much much quieter now than it was.

I'd have them check that chirping noise.  It's really annoying.   :)

Can you get Nissan to complete this TSB if the noise isn't very loud (like in the video)?

I have the same noise ever since day 1.  My car was imported from the US so no warranty for me.  I hope this is really normal.

My car makes a very similar noise, especially when it is very hot, like just coming off the track after a 20 minute session. Idling it sounds like some metal rattling around in a large drum can,.... LOL.

I can't tell from the video really how loud that particular car is,... However, the stock flywheel does chatter some, nothing to be too alarmed about - my car makes some noise and has been bullet proof none the less.

Completely normal.  My 2011 makes more sound than yours and two different Nissan dealerships told me mine is completely normal.  I even stood next to the GTR tech as he shook my driveshaft and said the "play" in mine was well within limits.  It doesn't seem to get any worse since I've owned the car (5000 miles so far).

I initiated this thread and still have the same sound as the initial videos. I have 21000 miles on the car with no worsening and multiple checks by the technician for driveshaft movement (with none identified).

Hope this helps.
