Guys,

I'm looking for a grey GT-R and I'm not sure if I'm set on either of the two colors. There are a lot more gunmetal greys out there and that was my initial choice of color between the two. However, the titanium grey is a pretty cool and unique looking color (but I have yet to see one in person, I've seen a bunch of gmg's).

My question was if there were any pictures of the two side by side? Or if you have pictures of either color please feel free to post them up here!!

Thank you all in advance, great forum here.

Do a search...there are a lot of them. I know because I asked the same thing a few months ago!

Look in the random gtr picture thread in the media share section. Not sure if I would classify the titanium as a grey more gold imo

Will do, I've looked through the thread a couple times but I'm looking for actual "side by side" photos. Didn't see any of those in the thread.

Titanium is definitely my favorite color and I've seen them all ( actually I've seen them all side by side haha). It's a very unique color and IMO far and away my favorite

There is nothing gray or gold about Titanium (had mine two years) a little brown, but that does not do it justice. It is a stellar color, but I do wish that Aurora Flare Blue Pearl was around for the 09 model year, that color is hot!

I've seen them both and I like the Titanium the best. It's a little more of a brown-grey where the gun-metal is a little more of a bluish-grey. Here's a couple of pictures of mine on the track.

Thanks for all the pictures guys!!

Does anyone in San Diego have one I can take a look at? Or maybe someone in Orange County?

I'm really torn between the two colors now but I've never seen Ti Grey in person so I can't really make an honest judgement of the two colors.

Thanks!

The Grey name was in other countries. In the U.S. the name of the color is simply Titanium. It is the same paint color/code as Desert Shadow on the Infiniti M45. Based on the percentage of that color bought and the 2600 total MY2009 sales (the only year the color was offered), there are only about 216 total Ti GT-R's in the USA!

Thank you for the info, very interesting! Is this color offered on any other Nissan or Infiniti models? There are dealerships within a mile from my auto body shop so I may just go have a peek at some cars with the same color in the meantime.

Titanium changes colors when the sun hits the lines. Goes from a bronze in full light to a deep silver where the light changes. Have to see it in person to get the full effect.

Love the Ti color, but didn't take the chance on it 2 years ago. Loving the Gun Metalic, but wish I had seen the Titanium in person when I was buying. This thread has good side by side pictures 1/2 way down page.

side by side

both great colors, Can't go wrong.
