Got your pm...can't wait to get them.  I can't wait for baseline dyno with the Agency Power cutback, mid, and downpipe...then get the ID1000cc and your intake installed...then dyno again.  Hopefully, 550hp awd is in my future.

Is there a chance of seeing these istalled?

I just wanted to see what the filter position looks like in relation to the bumper. What I don't get is why not use a different filter that has a filtration panel at it's axial end. That way if the filter pointing into the oncoming airflow you get some ram effect which has to be good for the pressure ratio. Otherwise it looks like all air has to turn through 90 degrees to come in through the side of the filter ( I do appreciate that being conical t does have some axial component but it is limited).

And final quetion, can you ship internationally?

Thanks,

Adam

Steve, that's a good question that I will answer.

With the newest Cobb mapping versions, it appeared that MAF voltages were running higher for a given airflow than the older version software. Tunes that were 16+ psi with full exhaust and 2.75" intakes were getting close to pegging the maximum voltage of 5.02 volts. We didn't see this until 18 psi before. When getting that close to maximum voltage saturation the resolution of the MAF reading becomes clouded and performance is compromised. Building the intake out of larger tubing causes the airspeed to slow down with relation to volume so the MAF voltages run at lower levels.....thus giving you more headroom with regards to MAF voltages. This gives your tuner a much better platform to tune from.

Be aware that you just can't bolt these onto a GT-R that has never been tuned for 3" intakes. Any tuner should be able to do a MAF mapping change, even via e-tune to take care of the increased size.
Installing without recalibration would make the tune go dangerously lean.

Steve, do you have larger injectors? How much boost is your high boost map?
Running stock injectors, and awaiting reply later from Jack on boost max. I should know...but I plead ignorance.

Yes. I have a picture of the polished kit on my own car. I'll post it later today.

I can ship internationally but the cost is expensive.

Kai, I'll see what I can do. You realize you can't see them once the rad cooling panel is fastened?

Yeah, you're right.  Black is fine.  I just like blue.  That's the color of Outerwears I have on my RC cars!

Additional filtration of particulate matter. There were a number of threads in the past discussing the effectiveness of aftermarket filters as compared to oem. These car condoms have a good reputation for adding an additional layer of protection for screening crud.
Can I get mine in pink to match my new hello kitty theme?
