Joe, does this latest update now allow for a launch control higher than 2,000 for 2010 cars?

Thanks!
Dave

Doesn't look like it. I pre-launched and revs stopped at 2k.

The Low Launch RPM on the 2010 has not been addressed yet. This update is to address the gear learning and the touch point adjustments. on the LC4.

Be sure that your car is fully warmed up before trying LC4 launch.

Joe

you mean i shouldn't have launched in reverse out of my garage upon start up?  j/k

i'm not even interested in LC really because i have a feeling with 600hp/tq something will break.

How's the launch? How's the drivability compared before/after?  Does it still bog like it did with big turbo kit+promax?

Just loaded the update and tried clutch gear learning with LC4.  I could hear the clutch making noise for a while and then it was complete.  No noticable differences after driving.  Again, big noticeable difference going from LC2 to LC4, smoother shifting points and no hesitation on accellerating again from a rolling stop.

Sorta off topic but can the software be updated to the latest ... What everyone is calling LC4... But have LC1 or LC2 for launching?

Also is that what dealers are doing when they replace a transmission under warranty?

We are working on adjustable launch RPM for The LC4. That is what you'll want.

Is it only working on 2009 and 2012 models now, or will the LC4 be working on all years?

I am having trouble with the launch with the LC4 on a 2009 ADM. I had a custom tune from Willall and the car's revs went to 4500 and then launched . It shuddered and the car went sideways with all 4 wheels spinning until it found traction and took off like a rocket. It wasn't smooth and that was the last time it did this. Since then (over a number of days)  whenever I try launching I get a warning about the clutch temp being too high and it takes 5 seconds for the car to be drivable again. I removed the Willall tune and replaced it with COBB Tuning, v3.00 -- 2009 ADM GT-R Stage2 93 octane or 97 RON v3.00 . (Of course the accessport needed to be completely uninstalled and reinstalled again.) I did this in case the custom tune was interfering with the TCM program but alas no change.Exactly the same warning.
Any suggestions?
Mark.

i don't think the LC4 is going to help with bogging of big turbos on a launch until they start to implement some kind of 2 step to build up some boost for the bigger turbos.   even if its just a few Psi .. would help tremendously I'm sure.

it used to be ok on the street but not so well on the well prep'd track. I guess that everything is now sorted out for even big turbos?
