Interesting assertion that it is more proven. You're aware that the Syvecs S8 is the ECU that runs the current World Touring Car champions and current Americans Le Mans Series champions cars?

and Motec?
Tommi Makinen Edition aka Evolution 6.5: full GSR trim, Coilovers.

There is a place for most tuning software. The pros of some and the cons of others.

Not sure what you mean about price difference.

The M1 has 120 pins which can run a full functioned R35 GTR, price indication of 6K, the technical staff for the hardware and software, vast experience in the world of motorsport and normal type road cars with emission controls.

The Syvecs has 80 pins, wonder what has been dropped from the operational list ? Price 6K ?

wish we could get a straight answer from you!!

Apparently I will be rocking the Motec unit for my R35 build. Had planned to run the Syvecs S8 with my 2200cc injectors, but my tuner strongly recommended upgrading to the Motec, especially with my GReddy manifold and TB's

The cost difference over the Syvecs wasn't much, and until I see public pricing on the Motec, I will not state what the difference was, but it wasn't much.
I has car. It go fast.

Soon to has built motor

there should be an update on motec website soon so check it out this week/next.

honestly your post about using motec over syvecs for those reasons doesn't make any sense to me without going into more details cause syvecs does upgraded throttle bodies and manifolds including sensors in the manifolds if u want them.

im glad the motec won't be much more in cost.

you can get an m1 but you need the firmware for the gtr which they have not released yet. you can download the tuning software from motec. iirc there is additional logger software you can purchase from motec.

dont jump the gun so fast, I am sure his tuner had a reason, which will be shared soon.
