Any chance of shipping to the u.k?

Can arrange worldwide shipping. Just be prepared, two large items are not going to be cheap.

?? I mean good luck on your sale but did u really just say an 8800 dollar aftermarket wing has very small margins?

Yes, I am not the mfg. talk to them about margins not me.
I wish there was bigger side to it. However this whole industry is crap for profit margins on parts. I don't think you will find a single vendor anywhere who will disagree with me.
Hence why I have worked myself out of the automotive business save for the handful of friends I work with on occasion.

I'm really interested in that wing,it's only the price that makes me hesitate,
Did you see a big big big difference in cornering or braking?
And what route are you taking now,
Tell me something that will sell the wing,

Let start by looking at the price. New the wing by itself runs wing $8,800 plus $150 shipping. The trunk lid clocks in at $2,300 plus another $150 shipping. Grand total you are looking at $11,400
Your cost? $7,500.
Boom right there we are already 35% off of the normal cost; and these aren't parts that vendors just knock the price down for the hell of it. Small margins, very small.
Now, if you were a woman and these were clothes or a handbag, lets face it that fact by itself would be more then enough to justify the purchase.
But given these are car parts and we are male. Well, it's almost the same thing.

However... there are more advantages then just cost to this package.
First let us talk performance.
There are a lot of track day GT-R's that have run aeroMotions wings over the last 4 years. Quite a few wins under the belts as well. I started it all by using the R2 wing (non-split) to take the OLoA trophy in 2009. This setup has seen wins in auto-x, time attack, and road racing.
The active aero  is great. Downforce when you need it under braking and cornering. Lowered drag on the straights.
Makes adjusting the aero for track conditions as easy as pushing a button. No getting out the tools to raise or lower the angle of attack. Was at Daytona and between sessions decided to lower the wing by 1/4in. Took 30 seconds. The Porsche GT2 sitting next to me, it was a 30 minute operation. Prior to the adjustment top speed of 172.3, afterwards 177.2. 5mph at terminal velocity and the lap times were quicker as the car was better balanced thru the infield.
There are a lot of other guys on here who compete with the aeroMotions products. I can list names but a simple search will turn up positive reviews time and time again.

The trunk lid was reinforced by the guys at aeroMotions at an additional cost. They were not sure the normal design by itself was going to stand up to the downforce and drag generated by the wing.
This particular setup has been run on countless track days. From Road America to Daytona and probably a dozen other places between.
No failures, just downforce when you need it. Low drag when you don't.

Catesby's car is currently back in full road trim. Going to drive it around for a while this spring. See if the GT-R is the car he wants to run this year in OLoA (if at all). If he decides to give OLoA a shot in '14 well... there are a couple other cars as candidates for the event. Time will tell. But in the meantime, this is just gathering dust. Needs to find a new home.
