Hi Guys,

This is Kyle Millen from STILLEN.  We are very excited to announce that NISMO has selected STILLEN as the exclusive N Attack assembler in North America.  18 months ago we were visited by Mr. Hiroshi Tamura, Mr. Shoichi Miyatani, and Mr. Noboru Kaneko.  It is not unusual for NISSAN and NISMO executives to come to our facilities in Costa Mesa, CA so we did not think this was going to be an unusual meeting.  We had met with Mr. Tamura multiple times in the past and being an enthusiast himself it's always a joy to meet with him and show him the latest project we're working on.

This meeting was a little different than most though.  During the meeting Mr. Tamura mentioned a few projects that he had in mind and how STILLEN could be involved.  During the meeting we did not discuss anything definite.  It was just some ideas and possibilities.  To us it was nice to visit with Mr. Tamura and it was a great honor to meet with Mr. Miyatani (President of NISMO) and Mr. Kaneko (NISMO business office Chief Vehicle Engineer.)  A few months later we received an email from NISMO requesting a meeting at SEMA 2013.  During this meeting the NISMO team including Mr. Tamura mentioned that they would like STILLEN to be the exclusive assembler of the NISMO N Attack GT-R package.  We knew that this would be a challenge and we knew that there would be a lot of work to make it happen but we also knew that we had to be a part of it.

For the past year and a half STILLEN has been working with NISSAN North America and NISMO Japan to find a way to bring this amazing car to North America.  There is obviously a lot of things that need to be covered when it comes to such a unique project like this.  NISSAN North America have been great to work with and their enthusiasm for the project and the vehicle has shown what a great company they are.  Our technicians working on the cars have traveled to Japan where they received training on every aspect of the vehicle build.

The NISMO GT-R N Attack is one of the most exciting vehicles we have seen in a very long time.  NISSAN and NISMO could have rested when they built the NISMO GT-R.  Instead, they decided to take it another step further and develop the NISMO GT-R N Attack using race parts and offer it to the general public.

If you would like to know more about what it takes to convert your NISMO GT-R to an N Attack GT-R please feel free to contact me personally at kmillen@stillen.com or by phone at 800-576-2131 ext. 173.
