You're certainly more qualified than I to assess that. I wasn't differentiating. Nor was I saying it's to be expected or that the OP deserves this in any way. I was just pointing out that I know of a number of cars in that 1400+ range that have had motor-related issues for whatever reason and they aren't all coming from the same shop.

I believe it is T1 but at that power level I'm not sure any shop is problem free yet.

You might want to measure the actual circumference. I think the Racemasters run larger than advertised.
