I am sure response time plays into things as well as the amount of power being made. I have an ongoing argument with Doug @ WGP about the numbers he often posts for the IAT increase (or decrease as he claims) for post-FMIC temperatures for the DI intercooler. It's a great intercooler to be sure but the numbers posted seem to defy physics. He has not yet posted a full 1/4 mile full boost run, however.

My car does not make as much power as some, but I have trapped 159 many times over the past 10 months at four different tracks and I see an average of 30 degrees F increase over ambient temperatures from when I put my foot on the gas pedal to go into launch control mode to when I lift at the end of the 1/4 mile. I have a custom SIR race intercooler with relocated intakes. When the car is fully warm, the pre-launch intake temperature at idle seems to be about 20-25 degrees above the stated outside temperature from the weather report which I guess makes sense because the coolant and trans temps are well above 150 when the car is warmed up.

Cool, but how is that even possible? 729 WHP at 19 lbs on 93, and with stock spool?

Stock-like maybe. Depends on how you define spool.

To me the comparison is at what RPM does the car hit 500wtq.

During these passes we're you on rrr or rcr?  Just trying to get some insight as I plan to hit the track for the first time this Friday and my setup is very similar to yours.

I would bet big $$$ that he was VDC Off.

In Topic: 18x10 and 18x12 , NT05R in the rear, what tires in the front?

That seems like a REALLY big difference front to back and a radial in front will drive like shit IMO
