In Topic: got bfg rivals

So... anyone who tracks the car with BFG and had used R888 prior? Results? Been using R888 but the test shows that lateral grip was almost as good as BFG R1S which is a slick race tires with 200 thread wear. I know I'm comparing street tires to R-compound. My 3rd set of this year (R888) is way past due. Not sure if I should try Rivals or stick with Nitto or R888.

Not familiar with those carbon ceramic rotors. Who makes them?

I would add the MPSS are probably better in the wet if driven hard.... But overall I'd stick with R888s.... Vastly better grip when new.  Less bounce and more predictable which gives me more confidence in the car and tyres.
After 20-25 heat cycles on, you can start counting seconds added to your lap time.

If you have the bracket fabricated by race shop they should bring down the seat at least 2 extra inches, look at my passenger side. If you still want slider, that will add about 0.7 inch to it but still easily 1.5 inch lower than AMS bracket that I had before. I have long torso and my helmet was against roof liner. Now position is perfect. You can also try to take out a cushion if you use race seat, it will drop the height a bit more.

Hope for a lot less weight than the heaviness of motor-battery add-on. Time to sell my car before the new one comes out....lol
