GTRLIFE Mourns the Loss of Doug Ross

It is with a heavy heart we post that Doug Ross of Weapons Grade Performance has passed away in a car accident.

Doug has been a vendor here for many many years. His for sale ads will forever be known as the most creative ads we have ever seen in this community. He was the type of person that helped many many people without a single charge. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

R.I.P Doug, we will miss you.

oh man, my condolences to his family .  :o

Rip

Jesus was just talking to him a few days ago and laughing about the April fools day sale he had up. RIP

RIP brother. He was always was there to help, money or not. God must have needed a GTR mechanic

He helped out many people on this forum. The amount of technical info he would provide for the site was so valuable.
Wish I had gotten to know him better than I did. I hate that this happened to him for so many reasons. The GTR community surely lost a major asset.

Absolutely horrible.  He helped me so much.  Shockingly tragic.  My heart goes out to his family.  Can't believe it

we should set up some sort of fund for his family , in this site ,

His campaign Ads were of legendary content.

A few of my favourites...

Rest In Paradise Doug...
R.I.P. My condolences to his loved ones.

Really sorry. I read many of his writing. Help me learn lot about GTR. RIP.

Doug was so helpful to me. John (a.k.a. @formidable_gtr) introduced me to Doug when I bought a 2017 GTR back in November 2018. I have been working with Doug and John on my plans since that time.  I was ready to start my build but had to put it off until the summer because of COVID-19.  I am really bummed that I will not be working with Doug.  This is such a unimaginable loss for his family and this entire community.

My deepest sympathy,

David

I never got to use Doug's expertise on my car (even though he offered to help me after I posted a question here), but I know he helped, and offered help, to many owners.
It was always fun to see his wry answers to dumb questions here, and his clever ads.
Condolences to Doug's family and friends.

Pardon my ignorance, but was Doug the one who did alot of mobile tuning for us?  I remember when I had my Cobb port that I used a guy named Doug to do my remote tuning.  If this is the guy, wow.  He spent so much time with me when i didn't know a damn thing about anything and he walked me through everything without hesitation.  RIP my man.

Yes he did.  He also offered his optimized OTS maps for less money too from what I read.  He knew his stuff that is for sure.

RIP

Damn.   RIP Doug.

And thank you.

What a tragic thing to happen to a genuine figure like Doug. He did an incredible job with my full build and was nothing short of an exceptional and talented craftsman and a kind person. Condolences to his family.

It's always hard to hear when someone who makes a difference in peoples lives passes away too soon. RIP Sir!

So sorry to hear about this, a great loss.
