TSM | ETS 30R Pump Gas Monster! 971HP on 93

Hey guys,We are super busy over here trying to get ready for TX2K but I wanted to fill you in on a project we just finished.
After talking back and forth with this customer for over a year he decided it was time for some more power. It was a great honor to receive the go ahead on the build from this guy. He is an old school car guy who has built dozens of fast cars over the years. Some were built by shops and other buy him and his friend in their shop.
He is now a man with the means to pay for a top notch build and could have sent his car anywhere. I was very excited when he told me that he had chosen us for his build.
That being said this particular customer does a lot of roll racing ( Half Mile type racing) but does most all of it on pump gas. He asked me to design a build within his budget that would perform to his needs optimally.
After several different options were considered we landed on a 30R build with some TSM custom parts at the heart. I got on the horn with Manley and ordered up some custom compression pistons and started working on cam combinations that would work perfectly with the rest of the build.
The results of the combination we put together really worked well. To the point that we were shocked at how great the results were.
An AWESOME 971 WHP on good ole' Shell 93!!! So this customer can roll around with two PUMP gas maps to chose from. 23-24 PSI making 900 WHP! Or PUMP KILL @ 971!
Unfortunately we ran out of fuel on 100oct race gas so we were not able to push this girl to her limits. For the boost levels listed below however this thing is seriously doing work!
We were also able to get some 60-130 pulls before the car left in order to have a little pudding proof. The whole build with all the custom parts took about 3 months total. We sent our private truck and trailer to deliver the car back to the customer last week, and he has been enjoying it on a nightly basis so far.
Mod List:

(Remember we ran out of fuel on race gas due to the 1000cc injectors...the car had a lot more in it) Pump @ 26 PSIRace @ 30.5 PSI[color=#BCBCBC]

The customer already had the injectors and the exhaust system when the car arrived. He didn't want to spend additional money so he was fine with whatever they could product.
If it was my choice to make I would have put our TSM 1150s in the car which would have allowed for another 100whp or so.
93 no fun
The customer did not want to run E85 on this build. The fuel is too inconsistant in the north for him to make reliable power.
971 WHP on 93...I don't see how that is no fun. I drove the car..I promise you it was a blast
Unfortunately no. He is from the North East and can't make it down this year. I did everything but beg him but it was a no go. LOL
I understand. Congrats again on the build. Very impressive numbers. I hope to see it at an event sometime this year. Maybe the Chicago 1/2 mile event. See you next week in Houston
Thanks Awesome! Maine
Actually it looks like it wakes up at 4200rpm and goes for another 4300rpm.
What are you looking at and how does your math work?
It all depends on what is important to the customer right?
This car might see race gas once in the next year if that. So maxing the car out on race gas wasn't his goal. If it was...we would have for sure pushed for bigger injectors.
Thanks man,
I'm actually investing right now in the stuff to overlay boost/AFR on our graphs because the curves look so awesome I want all you guys to see it
