Skyline Syndicate is partnering w/ NCRC again this year to throw R's Day 2017 at Laguna Seca, December 9th, Saturday

This year there will only have 20 cars on track.
Pricing is $290 for standard R's Daytrack day experience. $330 for the Premium with door number decal, window R's Day decal, key chain, Skyline Syndicate R's Day shirt, and some other goodies. Drivers will also be in the drawing for a FREE set of tires.

Attendees can buy extra goodies at the event (or preorder)

This year hotel rooms will be blocked for attendees - more info will be given as we get closer.

The event is expected to sell out quick this year because we will have less cars on track.

Friday night will be a meet again at the Coast Guard pier parking lot w/ a cruise down to Cannery Row to take some pics

The Bangkok International Auto Salon is supported by the same company that promotes the Tokyo Auto Salon which is Japan's largest aftermarket show and one of the best places to check out the latest and greatest from the JDM tuning scene. HKS is actively involved in Formula D this year, supporting the Achilles Radial & HKS Formula Drift team. The team is competing with Daigo Saito's R35 GT-R. This GT-R is fully built, powered by an HKS GT1000 setup with a custom Ben Sopra body kit, Holinger six speed sequential transmission, HKS Hipermax suspension and more. Extreme Turbo Systems TX2K15 Recap & Review

Extreme Turbo Systems proved to be dominant at TX2K15. ETS powered GT-Rs not only claimed the outright victory in the unlimited class of TX2K15's roll racing event, but ETS's own GT-R set a new GT-R quarter mile record with a 7.49 second pass, over two tenths of a second faster than the previous record time.

Extreme Turbo Systems has shared a recap of TX2K15, telling the story of their shop GT-R's efforts as well as the story of the Lease Locators GT-R that won in roll racing portion of the event. ETS has also shared data from TX2K15, putting the levels of performance at TX2K into perspective: 0-100mph in 2.4 seconds. 100mph to 150mph in 1.54 seconds.

Alpha Performance Recaps TX2K15

Alpha Performance has shared a full recap of their TX2K15. Alpha Performance took two GT-Rs to the event, their shop GT-R, ALPHA Omega as well as a customer owned Omega specification GT-R, the Diamonds by Wire APLHA 20 GT-R. The recap spans the entire four day event, including the Diamonds by Wire GT-R’s second place finish in roll racing and its subsequent 7 second quarter mile pass. GT-Rs Lockout Podium at TX2K15 Roll Racing Event

The results from the TX2K15 roll racing event are in and the GT-R dominated.

In the Unlimited Class, Kyler Oakes and Lease Locators Racing achieved outright victory with their English Racing built ETS Super 99 powered GT-R.

In the Super Sport Class, Brian Spachman won with his TopSpeed Motorsports built ALPHA 12+ powered GT-R. In the Sport Class, Forged Performance won with their ETS/Cobb/Dodson Sponsored GT-R. The three victories round out the GT-R exclusive podium.

Tomorrow brings the highly anticipated TX2K15 drag races. Competition will be fierce and with new GT-R world records potentially in the cards, little will be left on the table. The track will be going hot at 930am CST. Finals are scheduled for 8:00pm. Test and tune sessions are scheduled throughout the day and well into the evening.

Known as the Super Bowl for high performance street cars, TX2K15 is upon us. Held every March in the greater Houston area of Texas, TX2K consists of multiple events including drag races and high speed roll races. Street cars of all types attend but it’s prime GT-R territory. This year, GT-R horsepower will exceed 75,000 for the roll race event alone. At the drag strip, multiple GT-Rs with well over 2,000 horsepower are expected with new world records potentially in the cards. Video: HKS Premium Day

HKS has released a video from this year's HKS Premium Day. HKS Premium Day is an annual event at Fuji Speedway for those who love tuning, performance and especially time attack.

Held in January, the event incorporates everything from car exhibitions and product displays to scheduled time attack sessions. Supported by HKS and their partners, the event always features some very special cars.

One of the GT-Rs in attendance this year was the HKS GT1000+ works GT-R. Last fall it journeyed to Australia where, in the hands of Super GT driver Nobuteru Taniguchi, it outpaced Top Secret’s GT-R to win its class and lay claim to the title of the fastest GT-R in the world. At this year’s HKS Premium Day, the GT1000+ took on Fuji Speedway.

Switzer GT-Rs Take On The Half Mile

Switzer Performance has shared a short video of Switzer GT-Rs competing at WannaGoFast's half mile event in Florida last month. The video shows a number of different runs including a 211mph pass from a Goliath GT-R which won in the privateer class at the event. From the video's description:

"Here's a quick re-cap video of our GTR's at the WannaGOFAST half mile event in Ocala, FL, last month. All of them running on 20" wheels in full streetable trim. The Goliath owner took home trophies in the privateer class for fastest forced induction vehicle and fastest vehicle overall."

Titan Motorsports Annual Open House

AMS / Alpha Performance Sees 224mph on the 1/2 Mile

AMS / Alpha Performance has shared the story of their trip to Florida for the 1/2 mile with their shop GT-R, the Alpha Omega GT-R. At the event, held by Wannagofast, Alpha Performance was able to put their upcoming VR38 billet block to the test, achieving a speed of 224 mph. TopSpeed Motorsports Hits the Half Mile

Last weekend, Georgia based tuning shop TopSpeed Motorsports visited a half mile racing event held by WannaGoFast in Ocala, Florida. The event saw TopSpeed racing their own 4.4 Liter Alpha 16 GT-R as well as supporting a number of customer GT-Rs. By the end of the event, all four of the GT-Rs that TopSpeed brought had achieved 200mph+ passes. TopSpeed has shared the story from the event as well as pictures of the GT-Rs in action.
