Id say yes on the Intercooler and have no idea of the group but. My buddy lived in Christchurch and said it got pretty warm in the summer. On stock motor your typical choices should be fine like ETS.

I have a set of gateways and am getting ready to get a draggy so I can post my results in a week or so. I have raced a couple friends with FBO on E that we use to be close before I got turbos but I beat pretty bad now. This video is my car vs a GSX-R 1000 now hes not a professional rider for sure but he never caught up either. If the video wont play check my IG @ gdziluh

Posting up by unbiased experience.
Few weeks ago I had my FBO (AMS race FMIC, AMS Downpipes, ID1300x,SBD 4" exhaust) + Gateways build finished up at Boostin Performance. On their mustang dyno, I made 730whp on 21psi with e85 -- I wouldn't be surprised seeing 800's on a dynojet with all being considered. Unfortunately, was hoping to get to the track in early April, but GLD is closed with the stay at home order. Happy to post up results once they reopen.
Made it to the track this weekend finally. Unfortunately, my trans wasn't very happy. On my first run I did a 10.5 at 138 with slight clutch slip from 1st to 2nd. Tried about 4 more runs and every time after that the car wouldn't give me a decent shift from 1-2. It felt like once the car engaged second gear, the RPM's would rise pretty drastically and the car wasn't gaining any speed. Felt exactly like clutch slip in a manual trans car.

Please excuse my stupidity I’m by no means a turbo guru, but reading all the different posts Do these turbos produce about 100hp more then the stock turbos?
93 to 93 and e85 to e85...

Cicio, what type of HP does a stock 16 GTR typically put down on your dyno? I’ve talked to a number of shops about different turbos including the Gateway and get a lot of different answers on power they can make to the wheels. I know it’s going to be different from different dyno’s but I’m wondering how much of a gain is there from stock, FBO, FBO on pump e85, gateway turbos on 93 and gateway turbos on pump e85...
It's a pretty big difference but really what you should be looking at is the power difference at any given HP not at peak power. At redline the Gateway turbos make a ton more HP than stock and are not worked near as hard.
You for sure will get lots of different answers from different tuners which is kinda sad because there is really only one right answer lol.
I would suggest you give the shop a call and talk to Jan who knows these turbos really well in order to get an actual feel of what you will gain vs stock.

Does Alex have a high pressure trans map on your car?

Devin at Boostin did my install and tune. He did do a transmission tune on it, but thats about the extent of it.
I captured a few logs of it. Is there something specific I could look for to know if it is a tuning or physical issue?

I think these power levels are just too high for stock clutches when you launch.

This thread was written to show what these turbos due on pump and E85. All of said info is at the beginning of the thread. FBO's are usually capped around 650whp so these make 150-200 more.
