It's been awhile since i've posted but I bought a 2017 nismo last year for a damn good price. Saw the big upgrades for 2020 and wish i waited until i saw MSRP but now with what's going on.. i figured dealerships are more likely to give some bigger discounts. I wanted to see a personal input on if the car was worth the purchase? The upgrades itself almost amount to what i would pay in difference if i swapped on my current i believe.

I think there are new turbos, retuned suspension and the carbon fiber fenders including the vanes.

yep the GT3 turbos, seems just like a quicker spool. Carbon fenders, hood, roof. CC brakes/ different wheels.

I donât think those updates on the 2020 are Worth another $100k but some people got money and can take that hit.If is was me I would rather wait for the 700 hp upgrade or new model. Better of Invested that 100k if you have on hand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wouldn't be paying 100k difference, there is one at 190k already. I'm just asking the forums to see if anyone actually has some seat time/ownership to see what their thoughts are.

If you hold out another year, you might be able to pick up a 2021 for north of $300k... I do not understand Nissans pricing.

I would just keep your 2017 and add the n-tune fenders and ZR1 carbon ceramic kit. If you want more power, aftermarket has plenty of options.

I'm also curious about movement/sales on 2020's.  I got a great deal on a new 2018 in early 2019, and originally had mixed feelings when I learned the 2020 would have meaningful upgrades.  When I saw the MSRP, though, I was very glad I didn't miss out on mine waiting for a 2020.

Truth be told, I probably would not have bought a 2020 at $200k+.  And by then my new 2018 (and all other new ones at that price range) would have been long gone.

I'm only seeing one 2020 listed.  Black one for full MSRP $212,960.  Is the one you're seeing for $190k new or used?  And what color?

Maybe dealer-owned?  I know the Lexus of Albuquerque owner drove an LFA for awhile then sold it on his showroom floor.

@Ronin

If you want one, call a dealer. They know these will be sitting for ages. Probably get one for 170 now. 6 months into corona will drop further. ~ 150k this time next year.

I only know of 2 sold customer cars in the world of the 2020 Nismo so far..
Shame they priced it that way.

They lost touch with reality. At $220k there are too many options for lightly used cars that will destroy GTR on the track and in a straight line.

a little bump... since market has gone haywire.

after selling my 17 nismo, i still keep eyeing the 2020 especially when i see it becoming one the last R35s made.
