Anybody  hear about this tire? It's supposed to be real good. Some nice reviews on it from guys that use it on the Nurburgring.

Mentioned Toyo R888R may be good for less experienced drivers

It's a tire comparison of Treadwear 100 road race tires for track.

I never would own 888R because of the  NOISE ...................... If these are nice and quiet.......... Might have a new week end warrior..........

Limited tire sizes, only 4 possible for 20" wheels. I left out the 245 size.

Not much better with 18" and 19" wheel sizes.

27.3" tire diameter is small so larger wheel gap with OEM suspension. With lowered suspension you get less ground clearance and more risk to damage front lower lip and spoiler.

Yes, R compound tires can be firm riding and noisy, some are better than others. R888R noted for being loud when driven at the limit and will give some warning you can hear. Other race tires may not give much notice they are about to loose grip then they break loose.

they generated 2g of lateral grip on the Donklevort car.  Couple fast 720s user running them and seem as fast as the 3rs but cheaper.  Plan to try them on the 720s after I burn thru my current 3rs.

I run AR1 305 square. They have lots of grip. IMO, far better than R888r since they don't grease when hot.

They do run slightly narrower. They do howl but not as loud as R888r.

Do they fit under front stock fender?
Planning on running them too.

I'm on stock rolled fenders. SPL front camber arms.
Track set up is 20x10.5 +25 on 305 square. 25mm spacer in the rear.
