With the engine out, time to swap front shocks with DSC Road/Track (RT) package and add the SPL uppers.

 

 

The seats are RECARO Sportster CS leather with side airbags.  I contacted SCHROTH and they customized the belts with white stitching as opposed to their standard yellow.

I purchased the Motec M150, C127 Display and Creator from T1.  The Display Creator allows you to create your very own dash layouts.  Played around with it and Photoshop for a few hours, it is cool, but fell for the GT1R display.  I really like T1, very professional and always stock the parts I need, big fan.

I heard that there will be better fitment dash option coming soon from Motec
I wanted to purchase the c127 but been told to wait for the new option as my preferred option (c1212) required some modifications and I want something that can be plug and play and look more OEM at the same time
Anyway the c127 is great too

This project is amazing. If a nice MY17+ GT-R deal pops up around my neck of the woods I just might have to take a dive down into the GT-R rabbit hole again lol. Itching to do a build after following this and all other amazing projects.

Moving along, harness installed, dry-sump oil lines ready, time to go up or down depending on your view.

Tight fit but “SHE IS IN THERE”.   Although, the hard lines that came with the HKS transmission cooler kit are not going to work with a dry-sump setup, we’ll fabricate some new lines using braided steel hose.

This is the first time I have used the regulator, so I’ll need to test and report back to the community.

But now you have me thinking about it, I should have installed a pressure sensor, would be bad if it failed.

 

The Magnus Dry-Sump kit comes with a nice oil fill block off plate.  The oil regulator required me to drill and tap the plate for the oil return.

I used my Wabeco D6000 CNC lathe to remove some of the powder coating on the dry-sump snout, fits like a glove now.

Sorry. I did not see exactly where this was. What is the breather on the driver side of the crash bar? Not the intake filter but in front of that.
