Sorry. I did not see exactly where this was. What is the breather on the driver side of the crash bar? Not the intake filter but in front of that.

 

The crash bar was converted into a catch can in phase 1 and the two braided hoses route back to the rocker covers.

After months of work, the day finally arrived.  I removed the belt from the oil pump and primed the engine by spinning it with a drill. At first the resistance was minimal but after a few seconds I could feel increased resistance as pressure built and oil flowed through the block.  I should have done the same to the fuel pump as it took a couple of cranks to prime the injectors.

Thanks man, I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed this DIY build.  Full disclosure, I had PLENTY of support.

Speaking of support, next phase is tuning.  As I mentioned, I purchase the Motec M150 ECU from T1 with base tune loaded for startup, I can check that box off.  Wayne Potts remains the primary tuner and is a pro with Nitrous.  Wayne shared a dyno with and without the juice, enough said, I want it.  I’ll install the nitrous system when I fabricate the new charge tubes for the Vibrant clamping.  I’ll also install the new AMS throttle bodies that incorporate Vibrant adapters.  The Magnus mechanical pump will provide plenty of fuel so, only time will tell, to be continued…

I don’t mean to be flippant, but I haven’t got that far yet lol.

Seriously though, with the addition of T1 15" carbon setup she should go into the 7s.

Although, I have a bad habit of playing things by ear.

Thanks guys, a lot of attention to detail, everything has its place in my shops.

 

Speaking of details, I will be installing the T1 GT1R Carbon Rear Brake Kit that require the ARP extended studs. 

I am keeping the titanium front studs from phase 1 but want the rear to somewhat match.

I am not a big fan of the gold coating or the rounded bullet nose of the studs, enter Wabeco 5 Axis CNC Mill

 

I will send these studs to Richter Precision Inc. to have a Titankote™ C3 applied, should look good.
