I finally got my dyno tune this week. Car is fbo and flex fuel. I see gtrs making closer to 650whp but I only put down 565whp on e85. This was on a rwd dyno jet with the front driveshaft removed. Tuner told me I’m maxing out my turbos and that there’s no way to get more hp then this. Also that the car was getting heat soaked and that I should gain about 50 more hp in cooler temps. I’m going to post my dyno graph below and see what you guys think.717c00a12438746b627537d3bfd9755c.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Run a 1/4 and your trap will tell you if itâs low or not. Trap speeds are a more accurate reflection of hp. Every dyno reads different, but if that tq blip is exacerbated when your not heat soaked I would get it pulled out. Probably best to jump back on the dyno when it is cooler. Good luck.

65% ethanol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ethanol content isnt the greatest so it may have been pulling some timing.

But heat will always play a factor

So in July/Aug when I dyno'd my car in 2016 I put down 565, and ran an 11.1. This was in the Vegas summer heat. Fast forward to the late fall/early spring time and I ran a 10.6 on the same track with the same mods. How hot was it there that day? What was the density altitude? Could have been a high density altitude day. Elevation, temperature, and humidity all negatively effect density altitude which hurts engine performance. So if it was a hot and/or humid day that could be the reason for low numbers. Same with the e content, could be higher

I don’t have the logs from the dyno. I can log a few pulls tomorrow and post them. Also this Sunday, I’m planning on going to Island Dragway and seeing what she does. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sounds good and I did 548hp/573ft-lbs on MY09 FBO with Shell 93 pump gas so your power seems low and probably just tune related.  Car ran [email protected] in good weather.

If your making about the same whp on pump 93 than me on e85, then it’s definitely something with the tune. Sean Ivey is half an hour away from me so I might give him a try if the car doesn’t do good on the strip this Sunday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have fun and enjoy it. Even with a 93 tune you should have a blast and perform well against other makes and models.

I’m not too familiar with reading datalogs, but I managed to open the one I posted here and looked over it. Looks like I peaked at 17.9psi of boost for a moment then dropped down again. I was reading other build posts and people talk about 20psi of boost on e85. Could this be the reason why I’m low on power? Also correction to what I said before, I’m at 70% ethanol instead of 60%, which should make about the same power as pure e85. Car feels very fast compared to stock but I’m itching for that 100 more whp to put me at 650 which I believe my car is capable of putting down in current form. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ivey will set you up... I did notice you are set to map 4... not sure what each map is? Maybe play around with them if the tuner has them defined?
