I've been noticing a lot of low mile 2017+ (EBA) for sale.  When I check the CarFax some of them have been sent to auction after the previous owner took the car in for service.

CarFax will show the owners service history then it will show the following:

Manufacturer Service Campaign Issued

-Campaign #P0A05

-GTR ARM ECM REPRO NTB20-21

-Status Remedy Available

I did a quick search and it shows a recall for back up camera and software update up I'm wondering why they would sell the car to auction just for that?  Anyone got for info?

Service could be unrelated. Im apprehensive buying cars that have been to auction now. Bought a few in the past and passed on a few in the past after transferring. Many of them had signs of paint work and collision repairs, both subtle and not so subtle even though the Carfax was clean. The funny thing is that on the ones I bought the visual signs of bodywork did not impact value at trade in time as Carfax was clean, but it was still bothersome while owning.
