Good stuff. Looked like he hung with you for a couple hundred feet lol. With the Teslas it all comes down to state of charge. Even the Ps can run a low 10 and then run a 11 or even a 12 back to back runs.
TSM Billet Crank 4.1 w/ CP billet pistons, TSM Elite Prime turbos, TSM Wet Sump Oling upgrade, flex fuel, ETS mid and down pipe, STM titanium axle back, STM race FMIC, ID2000s, Shep One K with drop gears and all the goodies., DS Axles, Volk Saga 18 10/12 (MT ET Streets), Advan GT Premium 20 R888. 1450+ hp / 1210+ tq

Old setups : Alpha 9 w/ AMS 3.8, GTX3582R Gen II w/ AMS 4.1 billet crank, GTX3582R Gen II w/ AMS 4.0 big bore billet crank and of course FBO E85.

I'd say it's fast from a dig. it's a $45K family sedan that was ahead of your E85 FBO GTR until around 70mph

Lol what did you expect? Most M3Ps will run mid-11s. Go race a Model S Performance for a more interesting race.

I own both and the M3P has no chance against my GT-R after 60mph+.

What tires are you running?

Thread on my setup here:

https://www.gtrlife....tment-question/

17" Bogarts out back with 325/45r17 M&H DRs and my 285/35zr20 MPSS in front.

Drove 90 miles one way to the event, not having a way to re-air them up after the event, I left them at 31psi, raced all day and drove home.

my launch settings were really soft for the unprepped track 3200 at 2psi. Can't wait to try this setup at 17psi and more aggressive launch rpm/boost.

What did the dragy say your time was?

It wouldn't start for some reason - was kinda pissed I missed the opportunity

Wasn't sure what to expect, :dunno: never raced a Tesla before, no one at the event wanted to race him from a dig! The media builds them up to be such a monster from a dig so was surprised at the result.

Looked like he got the jump too. Still not bad for the tesla considering how modified your car is.

Good stuff!
Unfortunately the only thing you can do to the Teslas is loose weight. But that thing hung in there with an FBO car off the line, not too shabby. Obviously once our pistons get moving it will leave these in the dust. As soon as Tesla offers a Ludicrous mode For the M3s it will be an even better race. I love mine, the instant power on tap is addicting. But nothing will ever beat the sound of twin spoolies Reving out.

I dont think anyone is hyping a model 3 P to be a monster. If it was a P100D ludicrous than sure.
