Hello everyone, I am in need of a stock 2017+ ecu for the r35 gtr.. let me explain, I got my car from Doug @WGP and he was suppose to give me my stock ecu. The day after I got my car back from him, he unfortunately passed away. I went to my local dealership to get my spare key reprogrammed and they can't do it without a stock ecu and my primary key got messed up, so they need a 2017+ stock ecu in order to reprogram the keys to the vehicle.. my car is currently stuck at the nissan dealership and I can't get a hold of anyone from WGP, I'm am in a pretty tough situation. I am in Virginia, so I wanted to ask if anyone was local and could let me use their stock ecu to get my keys reprogrammed. After it is finished I will give you back your ecu, I just need it for the keys.

Why do you not have a stock ecu ? I don’t understand why Doug would have swapped unless you are running Motec or Syvecs ? Maybe I’m missing something.
TSM Billet Crank 4.1 w/ CP billet pistons, TSM Elite Prime turbos, TSM Wet Sump Oling upgrade, flex fuel, ETS mid and down pipe, STM titanium axle back, STM race FMIC, ID2000s, Shep One K with drop gears and all the goodies., DS Axles, Volk Saga 18 10/12 (MT ET Streets), Advan GT Premium 20 R888. 1450+ hp / 1210+ tq

Old setups : Alpha 9 w/ AMS 3.8, GTX3582R Gen II w/ AMS 4.1 billet crank, GTX3582R Gen II w/ AMS 4.0 big bore billet crank and of course FBO E85.

And he was supposed to give me it but then he passed away before he gave me it back, I said it in the post.

I read the post and Its not clear why Doug would have swapped ECUs. What ECU is in the car now ?

The OP is running full Motec. It is not a "piggyback" system, it's a replacement engine management system. Right?

That was my first question. Understand the need for an ECU now. For NY state inspection I believe the VIN needs to match.

I would reach out to T1. Tony and his team do tons of motec cars and could likely help you get the situation sorted out.

Just curious did nissan offer to sell you one? What was the cost?
