StopTech Sport or Hawk HPS?

Criteria: Good for spirited driving/ High speed/ Mountain Roads

and will not quickly chew up rotors.

Will not go to track, just spirited driving.

I was in the same situation when I was looking for break pads.

Pure city driving and not planning to track the car.

Went with HPS 5.0 and i like it.

If you like initial bite then it is not that strong but very linear and easy to modulate.

Coefficient of friction of HPS is 0.4~0.53 and Stoptech Sport is 0.38 (according to their rep).

I will probably go with something a little more aggressive next time but I also think I might not put enough heat on the brake.

Is HPS better than HPS 5.0?

Do you have the part numbers for your HPS 5.0?

Havn't been checking for some time.

HPS 5.0 is the newer version of the regular HPS.

Front should be : HB650B.730

Rear: HB193B.670
