Hey guys. 

 

I'm considering purchasing an after market exhaust/mid-pipe (Tanabe).  I want to leave the down-pipes stocks so as not to have any check engine/e-check issues.  Do you know if having the exhaust setup this way will cause any check-engine/e-check issues?  Just wondering as the mid-pipe would be cat-less.  Thanks for your help.

Just a follow up to this. Such a change wouldnt require any tuning correct? I am being told that anything outside of a Midpipe will require a Cobb/EcuTek.

Caveat being the 2017+ with the exhaust valve that needs to be addressed by either turning off the CEL via one of those or keeping the stock valve installed or with the Armytrix box.

I couldn't get the Armytrix delete box to work so kept the OEM valve actuator pipe. The thing is heavy though, I really would have preferred getting the delete box but try as I may, I could not.

If anyone knows a shop or private tech in the New York/New Jersey region that has experience with the pin configuration and ca. Get it to work, I would be grateful.
