Hi All,

I have a RPM shiftlight mounted and installed, but am struggling to get an RPM feed for it. I have wired directly from the ECU, and while it works perfectly when sitting in the garage, for some unknown reason it sucks all power out of the car when trying to drive it, so that option is out.

At the advice of someone on here, I have bought one of these :

https://www.ebay.com...18/352510670931

But I have no idea where exactly to connect it/wire it in etc. I'm assuming it's on a coilpack ? If so, which one  ? And where would you get switching power from in the engine bay for this ?

Has anyone done one of these ?

Cheers

Chris

No need. Let the car decide when to shift. Throw it in the trash.

ah ok.  I originally tapped the BCM on the pass side, but it caused a weird code with the trans. I'm trying the coil pack next. I'll post a video when done.

Which coil pack are you going to try ? I assume they are under the engine cover ? I haven't had a look yet. I'm going to give it a crack this weekend.

Wait I just re-read my messages, you have the same unit I have aye. So you ended up with the same problem ?

I had an earlier unit that worked but I think something in the later software interferes with it
