Dealerships will invoice Nissan the fullest amount they are permitted to on warranty items. Wether or not the GTR Tech takes the full amount of labor time allotted by Nissan for the repairs is another thing.

And they offered you a courtesy car in the interim? Or they have no issue with you driving it until parts come in?

THX Gdzilla for the info.

nope , they offer me Uber home, I live in San Francisco.  I didn't want to pick it up and go there again when parts arrive, I only drive the R35 maybe once every 2 to 3 weeks  !  Its my first time there, just wonder really cost near 7 thousand for repair those items ????  THX again !

fair questions. My 2017 only has about 9k miles. warranty is up. I too, also want to know what kind of cost certain repairs are running so I can be ready for a day like this: no more warranty. I am due for some kind of maintenance soon I imagine. I hope it wont be SEVEN THOUSAND!

Yup, talked to some friends they said, dealer " might " want to make money, I just couldn't believe 3 items cost 7k, talking about how many work hrs  needed !  I will have the break down when I pick up my car, still waiting for the parts , said takes 7 days ....from where ???  I have 2 right hand drive JDM, both one of a kind in USA, parts takes less than a week or within 2 weeks from Japan, Hong Kong, even Dubai.

the rep showed me the breakdown, l...o...n....g......list !   labor total $5800 some, the rest is parts , they changed the whole front L and R lower arm instead of just the replacing those bushings !   Transmission clutch pinion changed/ fixed ! and rear bushing .  finally did the front and rear alignment .  My receipt only show what been fixed or changed , no breakdown of labor hr and cost , guess coz under warranty !

texted the rep why my DVR no footage of the 10miles test run at all .  No reply yet !   Test run is a must but why no footage at all unless " someone " unplug the power for the DVR then question is why ????

I bet your labor rate was higher than $90per hour. My GTR tech gets $160 per hour in the Midwest.

I had the bottom of the drivers seat replaced under warranty and it was 7K. Very little labor on that swap out as well.

This just standard billing.........Nissan corp will not pay full labor price... And it does not cost 5800.00 for labor to replace those 3 items at a well respected after market shop... This is also how Porsche works..............  NOTHING NEW........

Battery from Porsche dealer for my Cayenne Turbo S was 800.00 from dealer and 425.00 from other shop...Same battery >>>>>
