Got a new personal best last night. Same boost too.
Edit. Ran again and got a little quicker.

Don't have a dragy yet, but just did a 6:41sec 100-200kph (10oC, very very slight incline, 93 octane). I filmed it with a gopro and timed it in premiere pro. I know that's not very accurate, but the interesting thing is that the car is basically stock.

The injectors, downpipes and intakes are all stock, and the turbo preassure is at 13psi. The only thing I can see is done to the car is midpipe and exhaust (GTC Titan 102mm). No need to be on the list as I did 100-200 and don't have a dragy, but I'm interested in your opinion on why the car is so quick.

Obviously there should be a tune or something, but wouldn't I see that at the turbo preassure? I can't change maps on the steering wheel. Just changing the midpipe should not give such a quick time or what?

Just bought the car, and pretty new here so probably wrong thread to post this, but thanks for any reply! Kinda lost on finding out what is modded on this beast.

You are right, your time based on video is no where near accurate. The 100-200 metric is substantially quicker on a stock car than 60-130. You are probably off by a second and a half. Stock cars run 9.1-9.2ish but even that has a variable to it. I think the quickest stock 60-130 is Brooks from dragtimes in his 2013 at 8.89 at the track at Palm Beach. If you are really interested to see if it is/isn’t stock, buy a dragy or go to a 1/4 mile track. Anything else is just conjecture. Don’t bother putting it on a dyno since they are all different and would only further muddy the water. FWIW tuned cars run in the low 5’s 100-200 from previous posts. https://www.gtrlife....h-stock-engine/

Hi guys, I know this probably have been discussed several times but since this is a 60-130 thread I'll rather ask. Is it better to start the run at 1st gear and then all the way through 130+ or not? I ask because I made some logs with the Cobb with my car and draggy at same time. I started the pull like @40mph in second gear and in the logs it reads that at 60mph car was only producing 16psi so it wasn't on full boost while at 60mph. Maybe if I have started in first gear (maybe) at 60mph car were to be at more boost that it did. What do you guys think about this and what have been your experience.

This is my second post btw, made the first one yesterday at the newbie intro thread. It is a new car for me and I bought already modded so I'm still learning and reading and stuff for everything about them and the platform. Totally in love with it!

I’ve always found starting in 2nd yielded the best result. 3rd was typically .2 seconds slower, however this was an an A9. Will depend on your tune and boost by gear. Starting in 1st should allow you to carry more boost into 2nd, however may not find it yields a better time. Good luck - what times were you running ?

Car ran a 4.24. Still getting to know the car. Tires broke lose in 3rd when boost kicked in so that is another thing I got to take care of.

I always saw about 2 tenths slower starting in 3rd on stock frames - probably not even a foot or two if you were racing someone. A lot less eventful with only one gear shift. Obviously your build and tune will dictate as your carrying tq longer in 3rd if starting at 40mph.

Finally did some good pulls on the track today with the Dragy. Did not launch the car WOT from 0, just roll and pushed in second, since I'm getting to know him and was on street Toyo 888r tires. Let me know what do you guys think of it.

PS: Have a Dragy video but don't know how to load it here on this post, if anyone can help me please.

@Jan....weight reductions?

Front and rear tubular subframes, carbon brakes, carbon front seats.

Otherwise the car has a full interior plus roll bar and full exhaust as well.
