Shep 1.5 to Shep 1k

Does anyone know what it would cost to upgrade a Shep 1.5 with billet baskets to a Shep 1k? Does it save any money or is it still going to be 15k.

Time to do a turbo swap

My builder is quoting me 40 to 50 hours to swap my stock turbo FBO to an alpha 9+ and race FMIC along with engine coolant swap, plus 1200 for tuning.  Does this seem like alot?  I just feel like 5500 to 6700 buck for labor for this seems like alot.  7 to 7500 for all this, I thought it took a shop roughly 8 hours to drop an engine.


Alpha 9 turbo types?

Hey does anyone know the specific type of garrett turbo the alpha 9 1st gen is?  Possibly looking to purchase new cartridges for a rebuild if i can find a used set.
