In Topic: 17" Bogarts & Drag Radial fitment question

28 October 2020 - 07:58 PM

Welll, for my front MPSS 285 the recommended rim width is 9.5" - 11"

The tire manufacturer will have the recommended width listed on their web site.

Research is your friend, All of this information is out there, as my kids say - GTS!

(Google That Shit)  :)

Advan GT
Front - 20x10.0 5-114.3 +35
Rear - 20x12.0 5-114.3 +20

PILOT® SUPER SPORT
Front - 285/35ZR20
Rear - 335/30ZR20

17x10" Bogarts with M&H 325/45R17 Drag Radial.

be very careful - I did a lot of research to make sure my front to rear rollout matched to protect my ETS. This combination of wheels and tires are exactly the same diameter/rollout. I verified using a cloth tape measure wrapped around the mounted tires.

Reach out to Michael at ETS, They are a distributor and he should be able to get you a set of wheels.

In Topic: How to drive a GT-R?

Keep up on your scheduled maintenance

Keep an eye on your logs watching for out of control fuel trims, excessive knock counts, and slipping clutches

Drive it like you Stole it! - this car likes to be driven aggressively!

In Topic: local no-prep event - my FBO GTR against a Tesla model3 performance

08 September 2020 - 04:55 PM

What tires are you running?

Thread on my setup here:

https://www.gtrlife....tment-question/

17" Bogarts out back with 325/45r17 M&H DRs and my 285/35zr20 MPSS in front.

Drove 90 miles one way to the event, not having a way to re-air them up after the event, I left them at 31psi, raced all day and drove home.

my launch settings were really soft for the unprepped track 3200 at 2psi. Can't wait to try this setup at 17psi and more aggressive launch rpm/boost.

What did the dragy say your time was?

It wouldn't start for some reason - was kinda pissed I missed the opportunity

Lol what did you expect? Most M3Ps will run mid-11s. Go race a Model S Performance for a more interesting race.

I own both and the M3P has no chance against my GT-R after 60mph+.

Wasn't sure what to expect, :dunno: never raced a Tesla before, no one at the event wanted to race him from a dig! The media builds them up to be such a monster from a dig so was surprised at the result.
