I went with the Muteki SR48 open end lug nuts as I like the look better (vs. closed end design) and gives me the option to keep them if/when I go to extended wheel studs.

Yeah, you've got a point. I was really curious on the affect of the Motec ECU and what advantages, if any, at this level build...

I get your question but practically speaking (outside of a theoretical curiosity) what customer would go down this route?  A Motec setup costs more than the Gateway turbo itself!  And who would run 4S tires on that setup?  

I have R888Rs and Gateways and they can't hold the TRQ at winter temps but are fine in the summer.  I think Motec steps in when you're at a power level beyond current tire technology. And you need to control parameters way beyond what the stock ECU can handle.

My tune (Cicio). Settings: R / whatever/ Off.  Hold cruise control "down" to "Coast/Set" and now you're in Rolling Launch.  Let go and hold on!  I try to keep revs at 4K or above.
