Cobb pro tune question

16 October 2011 - 11:35 PM

Yesterday I took my car to Cobb tuning Socal for a pro tune. Waited about 4 hours only to have them tell me that they were having trouble uploading the calibration to the car's ecu. They were able to get the stage 2 off the shelf map loaded which I had already done myself. The tuner had to leave for another appointment somewhere else and wanted to have me wait another hour so he can troubleshoot it.
I decided that it's best to take my car home as I had to be somewhere. So my question is this: Is this an issue with my car or the cobb ap? Do they load the map to the AP then load it to the ecu?

It didn't make sense and the tuner never said one word to me himself just took my car in the dyno closed the doors and no one else was really available to give me updates or even ask me what I wanted out of the tune! That place is far from ready.

BTW the car is a 2010 with a mid-pipe and exhaust only

"The most remarkable thing about the F-250ís speed is that it the truck remains mostly stock. Ford says that its engineers and Oklahoma-based Hajek Motorsports only installed a high pressure fuel pump, new fuel injectors, new turbos, and modified the compression ratio. "

Uhhhhh how is this mostly stock? :OMG:
