Your line on Turn 8 is perfect. Finally figured you could ride on the other side of the rumble strips late on my second day. Made the transition to turn 9 much easier and faster to throttle. Great write up. Pretty much agree with all information. Warning about a few turns where it will mess up your car if going over the orange curb. On turn 20 be patient and make sure you have completed your turn before going to throttle. Very easy to be on astro turf if trying to get on throttle to fast. Totally agree with having not only fresh set of brake pads but also replacement set. Went through a brand new set over two days. Was getting down to backing by end of event

Talk to Kenny with Jotech. I believe they have something for that.

I'm using 31/71-18. 28 is just tiny for this heavy car and will overheat way too fast.

Thanks
Ted

Do you know if the 31/71-18 will fit within any of the commercially available wide fenders. If the only way to run that large of a tire requires as much work as you have gone through then what slick combination would you suggest assuming using something like the APR wide fenders for the front.
Thanks

In Topic: Aftermarket Rotors/Pads Installation

So I just purchased a set of AP rotors and MX72 brake pads and I don't know where to have them installed. Should I go to the dealership, Firestone (or similar), or a specialty shop? I'm not sure what my best option is here in Houston.

The dealer can do it for you or you can do it yourself. If you want to learn I can walk ya through it.
