GT-R running One Lap of America 2008

Nice! Hopefully this happens.
Would be very cool to see a GT-R compete in the One Lap.
I think the only way the GT-R which is essentially a new kid on the block ( at least in this country ) is going to establish it’s creed an get the respect of the racing community is by showing what it can do on a track!

Looks like the drivers will be Tony Swan and Mary Seelhorst. The GT-R will be running in the SSGT1 Big Bore class. This includes Porsche 911, Viper, Corvette Z06, Ultima GTR, Ford GT, and a Mongoose GTP. Definitely going Wednesday. I will try and take pics and video. Spectators are fine at CMP and cost will be $5 each.

Why ? Did you get the thing earlier, pro drivers in pro cars win this event. The guy driving, hes a magazine editor. If he could make money racing cars, thats what he would be doing, not writing about doing it.
Most people have no real concept of a fast car with a fast driver. You seem to be one of them.
Also incase you missed it, the Dodge Challenger hit a solid object. Someone was trying hard.
