NickTO, was the part no. of these 1011? It says Mitsu/R35...I wonder if you call a Mitsu shop if you'll save the GTR tax?

Looks like around 400 US Dollars for this? Would be cool if it was a set, i wonder if its just one though.

I just looked into it, and yes, it is the 1011. The original GT-R BOV is also made by Mitsubishi, I suspect the Lancer uses the same one as our GT-R.

Afaik, there's no R35 tax, since the valve is the same as the R34 and it's been on the market for a few years now. The price is for 1 valve, so it's not the cheapest, but hopefully you can tell by the video that the workmanship is quite something.

I found this Australian online shop that confirmed my part #: http://store.autospe...k...ine - Black

This was great.

Great video review :headshake:

Can you say that it makes a pound or so MORE boost/holds a pound more to redline, compared to the stock BOV?
One BOV seller claims their BOV does this. I know some cars' stock BOValves act as boost limiters and/or have a "hole" that rather blunts boost spikes and decreases max boost slightly this way, so aftermarket BOV with better seal/no "hole" leakage can make more boost...

Fighting to maintain boost at high rpm/redline territory with stock turbos, one more psi would be significant.

Nick, that's the best review of anything I have ever seen. Thank you for taking the time.

If you can link me to that video source, I'd like to subscribe to your videos.

Thanks again.

Nick, that was a totally excellent video. I really enjoyed it.

Just one question, does it make your car faster on the track?
