not really at the moment... patiently waiting like everonye else....ive heard late fall to early winter... but thats just rumor until we get something more concrete...once we see it unveiled later in the year that should tell us a little more... and i assume it will be onsale in japan first.. so will be paying attention to that...

its no secret to people who follow closely the 2011 GTR is a hold over year so how long did they expect 300 cars to last(granted there are a good # of 10's still around)? i would expect it before spring no question.... as it will be a short model year.... ive got my fingers crossed for like a decemeber 11/jan 12 time frame

i think kris @ GTR blog pssted something in another thread...about 1 more test at the Ring in september or something... so that says its going to still be in development/refining/tweaking until atleast after that..

but dont worry since i have a personal interest in the 2012.. will be following very very closely

in the meantime everyone take a look at our poll

your not going to get that for a good while.... the 2012 is supposed to have just minor exterior changes.. think like the latest 997TT facelift

I'm hoping for something like this:

I could DEFINTIELY learn to love the above.

I would appreciate some forged pistons and a lower curb weight too.

It's amazing that you cna say you don't like the looks of the current GTR but you like that thing??? And if you want forged pistons and a lower curb weight either go to sleep or start modding your own car.

Uh that's definitely R36 material. The facelifted one will prob have revised aero, maybe different rims, crap like that.

2012/(2011 for me) I think I will be holding off spending any money on upgrades just to see if car will be lighter. Not caring too much about power at this point, but stronger transmission and weight reduction are the most important updates I hope for..

I think all the rumors about the 2012 improvements will definately start to hurt sales of the 2011's; especially in Japan where such things are followed much more closely.

I like that R36 renderring.

I hope that '12 sales make the prices of the '09's come down, so I can pick up another one.

I wonder what worldwide sales looks like. You have to figure some markets, it has to be pretty light. They do sell cars in UK , and other parts of Europe, Australia/Pacific region, China , Korea.
