Went to the drag strip today and ran a personal best at [email protected] (the trap on the right lane is 2.5-3 mph slower than left lane, left lane trapping 129 on my 10.9s run) on Dunlop all seasons with Custom Tune from GTC-R Ben. This is with AP006 Level 1 Launch control. My 1/8 mile was [email protected] with 60 ft time 1.578 s. No technique involved, the track just opened and prep was still good. I am pretty sure if I use level 2 launch control it should approach 1.50. BTW, on level 1 due to injectors and 3" intake, my launch rpm was actually at 4,000. When launched, the RPM drops down to 3,000 like a bog. The LC4 videos I have seen only see the RPM drop down to 3500 and it doesn't seem to bog like my.
I have been trying to break 130 mph since 7-29-2011, but no luck. I have hit 129.x mph on three different days with avg DA of 2224. I guess I will wait for the winter weather.

Sorry didn't see the Orlando speed world on your time slip.If it makes any difference you ran that on a hot humid track with all seasons...Props.Wait till November.
Tim, tks. The guy I ran was a 2006 cam Z06 with 530 rwhp that supposedly should trap over 130 mph. Well, he has never broke 128 mph in the summer in FL. I think we are running what we should in the heat. Are you running your car soon, mr. Soon to be 8's?
Tranny gets shipped from Shep tomorrow, gonna run it then it's she's on her way home.Have done a couple of thing's,that should be interesting to see how they work

Nice run in the heat! I think it's either PS2's for me or the 7010's. I will need tires very soon.

Great times for the heat, Just want 2 months when some good air comes our way. Thats a very good 60ft for those tires.

PS2's they are lighter, but 7010's last the longest.. Hell buy my ps2's they are really nice, my kidneys don't hurt after driving, and it still handles. I think I want drag radials, on OE wheels for the street.
Nice time OP! What mods do you have on the car besides GTC tune?
good work Kerry. i'll check over the logs you sent me cheers
Tks all. 3" intake, id1000 injectors, full turbo back exhaust and custom tune. My trap speed is nothing special, it was the launch (good track prep early in the day) I was happy with. I was thinking invos 275 front and 315 rear or should I get Michelins! I am willing to sacrifice some traction for longer lasting tires hence the invos over the other stickier summer tires.

great times .. cant wait to be back in town and run again
