Why stop at 100 octane, E85 is a solid 105+ octane rating. You turbo guys, should all be using it. Race gas is a lot more per/mile than E85. Plus, E85 runs cooler and it even smells better....lol!I JUST PUT 100 OCTANE IN MY P800 FOR THE FIRST TIME. DEAR JESUS!!! IT FEALS LIKE I GAIN 7000 HP
ps: Niel, i will email you file!
Car comes with 3 tunes, one of them is 100 octane, i only dyned 91...so today i tryed 100 octane. I send Neil data logs to make sure everything is ok. He told me that will make difference, but dude...i head no idea that is that much faster.Did you adjust the tune at all to take advantage of this 100 octane or just pour it in and the car auto advanced timing?
Depends a lot of factory turbo cars run extremely high timing by default and upon sensing slight knock retard teh timing EVERY time you go wot. Supras do this you can take a factory tt supra and dump race fuel in it and it will run higher timing and yeild higher power with no tuning adjustments from the owner.+1; if there wasn't something automated to detect it and adjust, 100 octane would do nothing.
