Yeh just called "My Nissan" 30mins ago, the guy, Roy, told me he was going to sell it at MSRP, and when I was figuring the shipping cost out he called again said he is marking it up 10k....when I said hey you just told me you gonna sell it at MSRP, he just said he didn't "aware" that white BE is that rare so his manager decided to mark it up 10k, non-negotiable

Please do not buy it if it's above MSRP. I do not vouch for the dealers at all, just thought I would post for those interested in buying a white BE. Craigslist has them listed as MSRP, unless I'm missing something.

EDIT: Just spoke to the internet manager at my nissan and he said they are raising it to 10k above MSRP. They are asshats, please do not buy this car over MSRP.

and ask again, tell NAGTROC sent you to get it at or under MSRP and that the whole country knows not to let the price creep up.

-if STILL NO DEAL

IMHO most NAGTOC members pride themselves on being an educated consumer and not paying more than the current market price. I would assume most that pay over MSRP are not forum members BEFORE their purchase. In the end it is your money and I hope you enjoy your GT-R.

A lot of people will bash paying over sticker since the car has been priced to be "competitive." or a "bang for the buck"

Truth is, most these people on here will flame you for paying over. Some waited over a year to get theirs and haggled down their sales guy so he couldnt make $500 over invoice. Then you walk in the showroom and buy your car the day you want it. haha.

Not to hijack the thread, but if anyone is interested in a Red Black edition for a few thousand under MSRP send me a PM for dealer info.

As far as paying over sticker; I would never do it, but its his money and he should be able to spend it however he wants. Congrats, enjoy the car.

I agree that price is subjective and based on many factors all of which we may not quite understand......since BE wasn't forced to pay over MSRP, then it is just fine with me that he did what he did.

On the other hand, the more people that pay over MSRP will keep prices up for those of us who paid below MSRP.......there will always be dealers willing to sell below MSRP and there will be some who want an ADM.
