Hi guys, can you give your opinions on this car I plan on bidding on at eBay? It is a 2009 GT-R premium, titanium with 44k miles. What do you think of the titanium color? I'm a big fan of gun metallic, but have never seen titanium in person.

I speculate the auction should end around the 55k range.

Pros:
Up to date on all service
New brakes already replaced will save me money
Excellent cosmetic appearance

Cons:
Well past mileage warranty
Tires Toyo R888 more suited for race track; uncomfortable for daily driving
I live in Oklahoma, so I can't see the car before bidding

Thanks.

I seen that one too as i like to watch the ebay auctions. I always love a good ole fashion no reserve auction. Its already almost 53k so i would not be surprised if it goes like 57 or so. Seems like he took good care of it, but i would want to see it in person too. Sometimes when u get a lot of people biding on these auctions people get emotionally involved. So someone who told i wont go a penny over 55, may simply not want to lose Because they are so invested. Also that shit could stay at 52 and some change and the owner may want to hang himself

I agree, For a 44k mile car, it's well taken care of. Looks like a good deal, I think, for up to 56K. Maybe 57K.

Never seen titanium in person. So I can't comment on that.

You can get an extended warranty for a good price from Jason at Boulder Nissan, if you go that route.

Titanium is a nice color and has a tendency to look more grey when conditions are cloudy. Let the sun or bright light hit it and it becomes a very metallic bronze-like. Doesn't show dirt as much as some other colors. Less Titanium color produced than the current new blue I believe (subject to correction by those who have the official count). Oh, and they're faster than all the other colors! Seriously, good luck with your purchase. Let us see some pics if it goes thru.

Everything i read said you can't get a extended warranty if you are past the 3yr/36k basic warranty
Looking at the nissan faq, you might have to get a different plan. Might cost more or/and have less coverage. I'm not sure.

Q: What does my vehicle qualify for? A: Vehicles with under 36,000 miles and less than 36 months old can purchase any plan on our site. If your vehicle is no longer within either of those parameters you can purchase a Pre-Owned Preferred plan as long as your vehicle is still covered by Nissan's Limited Powertrain Warranty.

R888's are a red flag for me, but it looks well taken care of and it's clean. Only one interior pic is annoying, but not the worst. I'd probably pay put to $58k for it. Then again, that's only $12k shy of what I bought my car from a Bob Howard Nissan, a year newer and with 8k on it.

If someone only uses their car for daily commute, why would they run R888's ? Also, no mention of no paintwork. No accidents does not mean it hasn't had paintwork.

Maybe it is as advertised, but I would at least inquire about those things ..
