2012 GTR vs. 2010 Hennessey 700 GTR vs. 2010 Alpha 9

Currently have a 2010, contemplating dropping the 20+K on upgrade package (deciding between Hennessey and AMS Alpha), but could just trade in stock 2010 for stock 2012

Apart from obvious warranty advantages with keeping stock, what else should I be looking at. I never track, just highway speed junkie!!!

stay away from hennessey, he will destroy your gtr at a high cost. AMS ftw!
No one's quicker than Hennessey. His slight of hand is pure magic.

not sure if...
duly noted on Hennessey, thanks...
Definitely stay away from Hennessey. There are a number of great tuners/shops on this forum. Two of the biggest being AMS and Switzer.

If you are a speed junky it would not make sense to upgrade to a 2012. The added power will simply not be enough. An Alpha 9/10/ or 12 is the only way to feed that craving.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
AMS all the way..no need to reinvent the wheel !
Hennessey!!!! lol lol lol................
this is the only hennessy i will touch

+1. Go with AMS
Ive also heard and read TONS of bad stuff about Hen....beware...
Can't say enough great things about Switzer. Give Neil a call.
AMS!!! AMS!!! AMS!!! AMS!!!
Yikes - Hennessey? I think it's really important to do your research. The fact that you even mention Hennessey makes me believe you haven't been checking threads or posts here for too long (some people are newbies but have been checking the forum for a long time before joining).

AMS does have a quality product - but as has been said - Switzer is definitely a viable option as well. The R1KX (Switzers top HP machine at the moment) and the Alpha 12 (AMS's top model at the moment) are extremely close in performance. Price, the warranty coverage and your relationship to the Tuning Shop will really be the deciding factor as both have quite good reputations.

Good luck with your build!
