Whatever happened to this? I know one vendor was close but then went quiet.

I thought we'd have a solution to this...anyone?

I put the Do-It-Yourself Fix here: http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?sh...mp;hl=alexdavis

Now, can anyone get me info about the Reverse beeper, so I can attack that problem too?! Wiring diagram, and/or how to physically get my hands on the "beeper" module.

Alex, the beep is the same beep used for all the other safety warnings( seat belts, and in Japan if you go over a certain speed). It's definitely located inside the cluster, but I would just disable the reverse signal input to the speaker.

In concept that sounds right, but if it's an input to the CPU, there would have to be other approaches. A wiring diagram would be the best start, but failing that, a description of how to get to the cluster would start me working...
