The 2012 GTR P600 produces nearly the same power as the 2009-2011 GTR P600 pkg, see the dyno sheet below:

Note, these are uncorrected numbers at a density altitude of approximately 2700 feet above sea level, approximately 530awhp SAE.

The 2012 should perform similar to the previous model year P600 GTR's, high 10's at 128-130mph.

If you have any other questions feel free contact me.

I have the P600 on my 2010. It was the best under 5K decision I ever made. 10.9 @ 129 MPH (crappy DA) - the same setup did a 10.7 @ 130 MPH with Diveextremes car (the guy who now owns the most powerful GT-R the R1KX @1248 HP at the wheels - on a Mustang Dyno. I believe he also recorded a low 7 second 60-130 MPH times which is a HUGE improvement over stock (which is around 10 seconds).

Drives exactly like stock and doesn't sound super loud unless you hit it WOT. So - best of both worlds. Excellent daily driver manners, shifts just like stock.

Without bashing others - I will say honestly that my car, despite having less boost than some other shops, had the best time at the track. HOW a car is setup is worth it's weight in gold - it's not just the individual numbers. Why the less boost? Because that is the setup that Tym found to be best from his thousands of hours of in house/street testing as well as continued feedback from his customers.

I like their philosophy because I would rather have a car that is NOT on the ragged edge - knowing that I have some room to push it WOT without detonation and consequent timing retardation (which is tech speak for losing power) - which I have seen happen to other cars - first hand - at the track. I know that I am within a safe zone for teh car - while also knowing that they have optimized the setup to maxmiize my performance (to which I have the videos and timeslips to prove).

Speaking of which - here are a few videos of me versus other cars at the track;

Against a Corvette C6 twin turbo;
Another GT-R;

Beyond all of the performance is the team at Switzer. I have a good relationship with them as they are people of integrity, who treated me like I bought an R1K even though I spent 5K on their entry package. They are a one of a kind shop.

Good luck with your car!

Thanks Fadi, I second the motion that you will not be disappointed in any Switzer product...

Edit: As far as downpipes go - I will let Neil answer that particular question..

Does it get also 130 mph @ 1/4 mile with pumpgas?
You can add our stainless steel downpipes for an additional $800.

There has not been any dedicated 1/4 mile testing sessions on pump gas with proper conditions. Scott ran his on 100 octane and it spun horribly in the 60' and still ran a 10.7, probably a 10.5 car. The 130 trap on pump gas is definitely possible if the conditions are there.
Thanks Neil,

How much HP do you tink it will do with DP?

To add to Neils comment - on pump gas I routinely ran low 11's - but at 126 MPH. Trap speeds say alot...

I have a video running against a trailered Pro Street car (which is the only car I have ever lost to) - but his 10.77 @ 123 MPH speaks volumes. My 60 foot times have been 1.76 at BEST. I average 1.85. As each tenth on the 60 foot is worth about 2 tenths at the lights - the car, with a favourable DA (which I almost never get at this track) and a good 1.6x 60 foot would easily be equal to high 10's.
And on race fuel, easily mid to high 10's. That is why I posted some videos against other like cars that anywhere else would easily be getting into the 10's.
As an example I have a race with with a ZR-1 vs a Lambo LP-640 that both run 12.5's (say what you want about tires and manual drive for the ZR-1 - but the Lambo is E-gear and AWD).
So it depends on the conditions as Neil said.

All I can say is that I have a pretty good track record - one loss to a professional car and sponsored driver;

And against another modified C6 Z06 (I have video of a stock Z06 doing a 12.2 on our track - so his ET is pretty good);

I hope that helps,

Cheers!

I would say another 10hp across the band with much quicker spool, but we usually save those for the P800 build.. ;)
Thanks Neil by the way the exhaust and DP are 90mm?
The exhaust and DP's are ~80mm.
Thanks Neil for some reason I was under the impression that was a 90mm ans that you can use the exhaust with your R900 and R1k if you decide to move up.But nw I now you cant use this exhust for the up grade

We use this system on the R900, R1K, and even Scott's (Divexxtreme) R1KX build features this system.
Ira amazing !!! All big number cars are using 102mm , 80 mm it's reall small anyway thanks for the info
Do you plan to include in your 2012 P600 also the Cobb option for LC4 VDC 2012 program,?
Big HP GTR's don't need to sound like they make 1000hp all the time, that is the whole idea of running the smaller system along with our backpressure relief system.
