Just swung by my body shop (M1 Autobody in El Monte, CA) to check up on my 2012 Stillen lip and OEM clear markers. Painted the lip OEM trim color and had my clear markers tinted a medium-shade. Snapped a couple quick pics before I have them installed on the car tomorrow morning

Will have more photos up tomorrow afternoon after everything's on the car!

Sorry was out all day after getting the lip on. Didn't get a chance to throw the rear markers in yet due to time constraints, but the fronts look great so far
The lip came out great as well, very easy install with no adjustments needed. Props to Stillen for a great product!

Looks good! I am still on the fence on whether to add a lip. Are you going to add the Stillen side skirts later as well?
Looks good, very flush!
Looks good, I like the way the lip looks painted.

I'm holding out to see if anyone makes a lip like the Nordring one seen in the 2013 GTR pics.
Nice job, I've just received my Stillen lip and skirts...

I like the OEM look, very clean..
Nice; very nice indeed!!!!
What was installation like? Could you remove it easily w/o screwing anything up? I just want the benefits for track days, I don't like how they look too much.

Installation was pretty painless, just had to take the cover tape off the double sided tape on the lip, line it up with the oem lip, and slowly go from one side to the other. After that there are a couple screws to attach to the bottom. I can't see it being very easy to take off/put on all the time, unless you remove the double sided tape and use a less powerful adhesive
How did you tint the clear markers? With window film? The car looks great!

I had my body shop spray the clear markers with a light tint
any good body shop should be able to do it for you

lol...I finally installed the regular stillen lip a few weeks back...bummer. I usually don't like splitters but that thing is sweet, especially painted the stock color.

What was the cost for painting?

I wonder if it has the same/similiar whole pattern as their other lip so when I take that one off I don't have a bunch of holes to plug or will it cover those holes up?

Sean?

Thx. We're going to have matching cars soon...I've got a stillen lip and clear front markers on order already. 2012 black on black.

You lay the lip over the OEM one, so there won't be any holes to cover up or plug. I paid $200 for the paint and install.
My Stillen lip showed up today. I'm going to get it wrapped I think. Shiny Carbon fiber or matte? Any suggestions? I'm leaning towards the shiny finish. I think it looks great painted like the one in these pics, but I want to try something different.
