SOUND DEADENING
– Full Dynamat on both metal skins and inside of interior panels
– A layer of Ensolite on top of the Dynamat to deal with higher frequencies, decoupling, and thermal barrier.
– Additional RAAMmat BXT II mat on critical areas
– Rattle Precautions:
1) replaced every single clip during the installation process
2) installed foam rings on every clip
3) applied heavy-duty foam tape to wrap around all clip towers
4) applied 3 different kinds of felt tape on every single contacting surface
*Spent over 7 months on this project
*Now the factory BOSE sound system is on another level
*ZERO RATTLE, quiet as a library
